Introduction

Johnson University was founded in 1893 by Ashley and Emma Johnson, who served as the school’s first two presidents. From the beginning, the University has been marked by strong leadership, a clear mission, and a focus on affordability.

At Johnson University our mission is to educate students for Christian ministries and other strategic vocations framed by the Great Commission in order to extend the kingdom of God among all nations.
