Introduction

Born in 2003 from the need to spread the culture of Italian artisan ice cream, Carpigiani Gelato University is today the first ice cream school in Italy and in the world. A point of reference for ice cream makers, entrepreneurs, chefs, and pastry chefs, a solid and avant-garde reality, for those who want to learn or deepen the art of Italian ice cream.

Thanks to Carpigiani's many years of experience in the field of technologies and machines for making ice cream, Carpigiani Gelato University has the largest ice cream laboratory in the world at its disposal, where students can practice making the recipes created together with the most expert ice cream masters. . The team of ice cream masters is made up of the greatest experts in the ice cream sector and beyond. The curriculum of each teacher is in fact rich in national and international experiences, in all food specialties.

Every year more than 2000 people choose to attend the courses that Carpigiani Gelato University offers in Bologna, in different languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese, and Russian, are the main ones. Thanks to an international team of certified ice cream masters, there are more than 4000 students in 10 international locations.
