Introduction
Hochschule Kaiserslautern – University of Applied Sciences is a modern university for applied sciences and design. Around 6000 students and 160 full-time professors learn, teach and perform research within five departments on campuses in Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens and Zweibrücken. Numerous partnerships with (inter)national institutions and enterprises do not only guarantee practice-oriented study programmes, but also a high academic quality.
