The Jaime Isaza Cadavid Colombian Polytechnic is a public university institution, attached to the Departmental Government of Antioquia and founded in March 1964.

It offers higher education at the technical, technological, and professional levels through an offer of undergraduate and graduates academic programs in different areas of engineering, administration, agricultural sciences, audiovisual communication, sports, and recreation. The Master in Management of sports and recreational organizations of the Jaime Isaza Cadavid Colombian Polytechnic and of the Faculty of physical education and recreation and sports arises as a response to the needs of Colombian sports that seeks managers, administrators, and managers for the thousands of organizations in the sector, both for private companies and state institutions.
