The Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) is one of the best universities in the country, in teaching (undergraduate and graduate) and scientific research, being the best in the North-Northeast, according to evaluations by the Ministries of Education (MEC) and Science and Technology (MCT).
The General Ombudsman of Universidade Federal de Pernambuco is a space for welcoming and listening to manifestations (suggestion, request, complaint, complaint, praise) by the population, guaranteeing social participation as an exercise of citizenship. In addition, it is an important sector in the qualification of the public service. Analytical reports on the topics worked on in the Ombudsman's routine are presented to sectors of university management, with the aim of inspiring the construction of flows, routines, processes that optimize life and relationships at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco .
Created in 2012, from the middle of 2014, the Ombudsman of Universidade Federal de Pernambuco started to operate through the Demand Management System, called Ouve Universidade Federal de Pernambuco , a channel through which Manifestations were made and with internal management by the University. This System was discontinued, in compliance with Normative Instruction No. 19 of 12/03/2018, of the Ministry of Transparency and General Controllership of the Union. Today, the Manifestations must be made by the Ombudsman System of the Federal Executive Power -Ouv) coordinated by the Federal Ombudsman's Office (OGU). It is the Fala.BR Platform that hosts the Manifestations.
