Introduction
Tarleton State University’s Master of Education in Educational Administration program prepares Texas professionals for K-12 school administration and higher education roles through stimulating coursework and hands-on educational experiences. Courses are offered online to provide flexibility for students, and professors offer optional face-to-face program review sessions.
Our accredited Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration degree has a concentration option in Higher Education Leadership.
M.Ed. Degree Program Overview
Tarleton’s Educational Administration M.Ed. degree has the option to be completed completely online. This flexibility is great for working professionals with busy schedules interested in pursuing this 30-credit-hour program.
Courses are also offered at Tarleton’s north central Texas campuses in Stephenville, Fort Worth, and Waco. With a career-advancing curriculum, our students learn the essentials of school administration including coursework in leadership, school-community relations, special education, and educational planning. An additional 3 hour principal practicum course is required for students who seek to obtain a Principal Certificate in the state of Texas.
