Introduction

Bellevue University is a non-profit, open-access institution with more than 50,000 graduates worldwide. Bellevue University is structured into four academic units, each working together but targeting our accredited degree programs' specific needs.

The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) oversees bachelor's and master's degree programs in the arts, sciences, behavioural sciences, communication, and humanities. The Kirkpatrick Signature Series and General Education Core Curriculum are also under the direction of this college.

The mission of the College of Arts and Sciences at Bellevue University is to provide students with educational opportunities in the liberal arts; to engage students in critical thinking and active learning environments that build knowledge and skills important to work, citizenship, lifelong learning, and personal fulfilment; and to prepare students for careers, as well as advanced work in selected disciplines and professions. CAS serves as the focus, not only for traditional programs but also for several accelerated undergraduate programs, professional certificate of completion programs, and graduate programs.
