The Master’s Degree Program in Chemistry offered by the University of Parma provides comprehensive education and training focused on the most modern aspects of chemistry. The discipline of material science and engineering consists of 3 subordinate discipline of master on material science, material processing engineering, and materials physics and chemistry. This discipline aims to study the structure, processing, and properties of one material and investigate the relationships of these factors. The mandatory core courses include material analysis and characterization, selected topics of materials physics and so on. The main research area covers valence electron structure and materials design, the theory and application of material structure control under an external field.
