It captivates people worldwide, people who seek challenging tasks and a strong interactive dimension in an emotional and intercultural environment. While these industry attributes will continue to provide interesting touristic activities for management positions in the future, a strong trend towards more professionalization and specialization is occurring. Only with advanced credentials can one master the dramatic increase of technical, economic, and social developments which constantly confront touristic enterprises. Offers must be perpetually adjusted to customer needs in existing and new markets; business, management, and support processes must be enhanced or redefined by contemporary technology; and innovative ways must be found for the responsible use of resources. Our Vision This graduate degree program addresses ambitious undergraduates who are enthusiastic about tourism and who either hold a bachelor’s degree in tourism, or are specialists in other relevant fields and would like to join the industry. They seek demanding professional and managerial responsibilities in core tourism sectors and tourism related sectors, in Switzerland and worldwide. This is achieved through a holistic approach to education, a strong practical orientation, a cosmopolitan study environment, and Swiss values, such as precision and thoroughness. Admission Requirements Admittance to the study course is possible for: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma from a university or university of applied sciences Documented academic knowledge in business administration Letter of motivation Documented credible work experience (References) C1 level English certificate; e.g. TOEFL (internet-based 110), IELTS (6.5), Cambridge Advanced (grade “C”), or equivalent Admission interview The application deadline is May 31st for the following fall semester start. Please note that the date of receipt of the application will be taken into consideration due to the limited number of places in the program. Registration after the deadline may be considered in individual cases. Fees Students from Switzerland or Liechtenstein (Residence for at least 2 years prior to program begin): Tuition per semester: CHF 960.- Application fee: CHF 300.- The application fee is charged in confirmation of a study place and is non-refundable. The application fee will be deduced from the first semester tuition fee. Students from EU and EFTA Countries: Tuition per semester: CHF 1 460.- Application fee: CHF 300.- The application fee is charged in confirmation of a study place and is non-refundable. The application fee will be deduced from the first semester tuition fee. Local administrative district sanctions employment up to a maximum of 15 hours per week when in possession of a specific permit.Students from non-EU and non-EFTA Countries: Tuition per semester: CHF 10 000.- Application fee: CHF 3,000.-Canton Grisons prohibits all forms of employment.
