RecipientsAimed, not exclusively, at: graduates and graduates in Optics and Optometry; graduates and graduates in Physical, Chemical or Mathematical Sciences; Engineers, Architects and Engineering graduates. Why study this master?Optics has become in recent decades a scientific and technological area of unquestionable importance for the advancement of our society. Around 30,000 engineers, scientists and technologists worldwide are directly related to the areas of Optics, Photonics or Optical Engineering. As a result of this activity, optical applications have appeared in the everyday environment that have improved the well-being of society and the performance of widely varied industrial processes.
Within this wide range of optical technologies, those based on the production, handling, analysis and processing of images in fields such as: manufacturing quality control, optical metrology, biomedical diagnostic imaging, industrial design, microscopy, robotics, heritage conservation, stand out. , film industry, design of optical instruments, etc.
Aware of the maturity reached in the field of Optics and its related technologies, especially in imaging technologies, and the need for specialized training in this field, this degree is offered, with the aim of training scientists and technologists who have from a broad base of knowledge and practical skills on advanced optical technologies, widely used in industry and in optical laboratories, with a special emphasis on those related to the training, management and analysis of optical imaging.Admission requirements to mastersNon-enabling university mastersBe in possession of any of the following titles:Spanish official university degree .
